Responsibilities:
- Create hand-drawn and graphic illustrations.
- Act as the main source for illustrations and collaborate closely with the Afiniti creative team.
- Generate ideas independently or based on provided scripts.
- Enhance individual visual elements and establish a collection of illustrations, assets, icons, graphics, and motion graphics.
- Adapt illustrations based on feedback.
- Ensure that the brand’s visual identity remains consistent in all projects.
- Utilize creativity and artistic skills to visually convey a story or convey information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, and explore new applications for your skills.
Requirements:
- Previous work experience or certification in Illustration, graphic design, fine arts, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Procreate.
- Proficiency in both traditional hand-drawing and digital pen drawing, along with strong digital design abilities.
- Familiarity with the entire Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Procreate, and other relevant design and illustration software.
- Must possess attention to detail, adaptability, and a willingness to receive and apply feedback and guidance.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team to create animations and solve design challenges.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and computer skills.
- Ability to approach problems with both analytical and creative thinking.
- A portfolio showcasing your work is essential.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Remember to include your portfolio along with your resume; applications without portfolios will not be considered.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the 12 principles of animation is important.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects is required, and experience with Blender is a bonus.
- Understanding storytelling and character development techniques is valuable.
- Prior experience collaborating closely with animators is a plus.
- Capable of simplifying complex technical information to create easily understandable marketing materials.
Location/Remote:
- Depending on your position at Afiniti, there’s a chance you could work from a remote location!
