Responsibilities:
- To help create the individual financial statements for Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited.
- Review and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports.
- Prepare Financial Variance Analysis to track trends, comparing current data with previous months, the same month from the previous year, year-to-date figures with the same period last year, and the monthly budget.
- Collaborate with all regions and finance departments at the headquarters to ensure the month-end closing process is completed smoothly.
- Work closely with external auditors, providing them with the necessary information for conducting the annual audit and semi-annual review.
- Calculate income tax liability and deferred tax for inclusion in the financial statements.
Qualification:
- A degree in BBA, MBA, ACCA, CA, CAF, or a related field is required.
- A solid grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and applicable regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is necessary.
