Exciting Career at the Sindh Food Authority

The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) was established in 2018 as per The Sindh Food Authority Act of 2016 with a mission to ensure the people of Sindh receive food that is safe, hygienic, and meets health standards. The initial operations of the authority were in Karachi Division and Larkana District. Later, in 2020, it expanded its services to Hyderabad District, partially extending to Mirpurkhas in 2021. In 2023, the SFA commenced operations in Sukkur and Benazirabad Division. Over nine board meetings, the SFA has made 100 significant decisions. The primary goal of the SFA is to facilitate access to sufficient and nutritious food to support life and promote good health.

Note:

  • The service does not contribute to the G.P. Fund, Benevolent Fund, or similar funds before joining the MP Scale Position.
  • Families of individuals employed under Sindh Management Scales Policy, 2022, do not receive assistance in case of the employee’s death.
  • The service is not eligible for pension benefits.
  • Employees must submit an affidavit declaring their non-involvement in any other business or job that may pose a conflict of interest.
  • Exclusion from group insurance and similar benefits for employees under this service.

 

How to apply:

  • Submit applications to the Secretary of Food at the Government of Sindh office in Karachi.
  • The office is located at the New Sindh Secretariat, Building No.1, 4th Floor.

 

What to write in the Application Form:

 

  • Name, father’s name, date of birth, and address.
  • Domicile/PRC 7 details.
  • CNIC information.
  • Include two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Ensure all required documents are complete; incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
  • Provide academic/technical qualifications as per eligibility criteria.
  • Outline previous experience as per eligibility criteria.
  • Include the following information along with attested copies of the required documents:
    1. Personal details
    2. Copies of necessary documents
    3. Ensure proper attestation of all documents with the application.
