They are seeking an Amazon Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our Amazon operations. This role involves working closely with our team to handle sourcing, supply chain management, pricing, and driving sales on the Amazon marketplace. The Amazon General Manager will focus on specific brands within our portfolio and ensure their success on the platform. - Manage a group of brands and take full ownership of profit and loss (P&L) for the portfolio.
- Analyze Amazon data in collaboration with the Moonshot team, including sales, conversion rate, and sessions.
- Identify and analyze product trends, and develop strategies to improve low-margin and low-growth products.
- Create strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and improve conversion rates for acquired products, such as price optimization, PPC campaigns, packaging/inserts, coupons and deals, customer communications, and creative enhancements.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues before they become problems, and stay updated on the competitive and industry landscape.
- Lead the transition process when acquiring a business, including migrating accounts, establishing relationships with sellers, and optimizing end-to-end customer processes.
- Collaborate with Moonshot Brand teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to maintain product availability, quality, packaging updates, and necessary certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Amazon product management, marketing, or an analytical role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in running your own Amazon or e-commerce business is a plus.
- Experience in managing Amazon for CPG brands or working at an Amazon agency is a plus.
- Previous management experience, having led a team in a previous role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Positive attitude, reliability, transparency, and enjoyment in working with diverse individuals.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- This is a remote position. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and willing to work extended hours when needed to ensure the success of brands.
