An Assistant Commercial Controller at PepsiCo is responsible for Forecast and tracking monthly and quarterly Operating Cash Flow (OCF) for Collections, Advertising & Marketing (A&M), and Sales to Trade and Business (STB). Handle reconciliation of intercompany balances, obtain balance confirmations, and resolve any related queries. Ensure accurate tax deduction and provide timely information to the Tax & Treasury function. Adhere to Black Swan guidelines for compliance. Ensure timely closure of month/year-end Afghanistan Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and cross charges. Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly Business Segment Reporting (BSR) with accompanying commentary
- Assist the PO1 Commercial Controls Manager in the Statutory Audit process
- Track and report monthly A&M Smart Spend, ensuring timely closure of open Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GRIR)
- Maintain and update Blackline schedules as part of the Monthly Closing submissions
- Ensure proper booking and adjustment of agreed bulk discounts between PI and Media Agency
- Perform A&M curve analysis for Pakistan and Afghanistan, aligning it with business goals and planning
- Ensure timely settlement of Supplier’s advances according to PI Policy
- Verify and document accruals appropriately
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules related to A&M within specified reporting timelines
- Manage and update customer master data in the SAP system
Qualifications :
- Candidates with ACCA, ICAEW, CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications are preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of six years of work experience is required.
