As a Team Lead in the Accounts and Finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of professionals in managing financial activities and maintaining accurate records. Your role will involve providing leadership and direction to the team, ensuring their adherence to financial policies and procedures, and driving efficient and effective financial operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams and departments to support the achievement of organizational goals and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create strategies to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Ensure that accounting operations are conducted within set timelines, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Supervise the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements.
  • Present accurate financial data in the statements, reflecting the organization’s financial performance and business position.
  • Participate in financial modeling and forecasting activities.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of sales, expenses, and inventory turnover to gain valuable insights.
  • Establish a suitable cost accounting system for inventory purchases and shipping charges.
  • Manage bank reconciliation and vendor payment processes, including reconciliation.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and implement backup processes for critical tasks.
  • Preference is given to candidates with international accounting experience.

 

Qualification:

  • Both CA and ACCA qualifications are highly regarded in the field of accounting and finance.

  • Having 3 to 5 years of experience demonstrates a level of proficiency and competence in the field.
