Muttii Group is seeking a WordPress developer to create and implement new systems and features, as well as update and maintain existing systems to adapt to business and technology changes. The senior software engineer collaborates with IT management, development teams, technical delivery teams, and vendors to ensure the successful design and delivery of technology-based solutions as a WordPress Developer. As a senior software engineer at Mutti Group, located in Karachi, Pakistan, you’ll play a key role in driving software change and release management processes. Your focus will be on enhancing the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. Your main objective will be to ensure that software deliverables meet high-quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Take on the role of a technical lead, providing guidance and direction to both internal and external development teams.
- Play a vital part in continuously improving existing applications and services within the content supply portfolio.
- Create, modify, implement, and offer support for various software components across the entire software system.
- Investigate complex software issues, identify their root causes, and devise practical and efficient solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and vendor packages, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Assist in organizing tasks, estimating timelines, scheduling, and managing staffing for different projects.
- Mentor Software Engineers, offering valuable advice, coaching, and training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, establish best practices, and develop new processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management to achieve project objectives effectively.
Requirements:
- To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of programming experience is required.
- Extensive experience in designing, programming, and implementing large information systems is necessary.
- The candidate should be capable of conducting thorough evaluation and analysis of complex technological issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent organization and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding others.
- Ability to make independent decisions and exercise discretion in job responsibilities.
