The Express Newspaper has published an advertisement for the latest job opportunity for the position of Chief Security Officer at NTDC Pakistan.

Job Opportunity:

National Transmission and Despatch Company Limited have announced job opportunities for experienced individuals to join the company on a contract basis. The company owns and operates the high voltage transmission system in Pakistan and AJK, and is committed to contributing to the country’s economic growth by providing an excellent transmission and dispatch network.

Job Post at NTDC Pakistan:

  • Chief Security Officer (BPS-20)

 

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • – Retired officers equivalent to BS-20 in the Pakistan Civil or Military Armed Forces are eligible.
  • – Candidates with a background in combat arms are preferred.
  • – Applicants should be in good health and meet Medical Category “A” criteria.
  • – A demonstrated history of leading by example is required.
  • – Building strong relationships and trust with subordinates is expected.
  • – Experience in gathering and analyzing intelligence is a plus.

 

Age Limit:

  • 55- Years

 

Other Skills:

  • – Has strong communication, interpersonal, time management, and presentation skills.
  • – Shows attention to detail and ability to incorporate digital technology into the security system.
  • – Displays effective leadership skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • – Takes initiative to prevent security breaches.

 

Job Profile:

  • Ensure the protection of NTDC properties, assets, and installations, including Grid Stations and Transmission Lines.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with local security and law enforcement agencies.
  • Provide necessary training and skill development to the security staff under your command.
  • Supervise and control all security activities in NTDC to ensure compliance with established procedures for asset protection.
  • Identify and assess security risks faced by NTDC and implement effective risk management practices.
  • Implement security policies through regional Deputy Managers.
  • Maintain contact with government security agencies through the Federal Inspection Team/Provincial Survey Team.
  • Keep the Managing Director informed about security issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide guidance on security matters to the Ministry of Energy.
  • Ensure compliance with government directives on the security of foreigners.
  • Represent NTDC in meetings with intelligence divisions and government agencies regarding security matters.

 

Reporting Channel:

  • The Managing Director of NTDC or another designated officer will receive reports from the Chief Security Officer.
